Stirchley Art Club is a free, accessible, drop-in art club for adults of all abilities. All art materials are provided for you and instruction will be given so that you can learn a range of techniques. Art Club takes place on Mondays 11am-1pm, Wednesdays 10am-1pm and 2-5pn, and Thursday evenings from 6-8pm Funded by National Lottery Communities Fund (Mondays), Birmingham City Council (Wednesdays) and People's Postcode Lottery (Thursday evenings), Stirchley Art Club is a friendly, supportive and welcoming place for creativity, learning and artful play. We often plan sessions around specific activities such as printmaking, bookmaking or painting, but we can also support you if you would prefer to do something else. We have a range of books, images and resources for help and inspiration, but you can also bring your own ideas if you prefer. Art Club sessions are run by either Sarah or Nicki, with help from our workshop assistant, Florence. All sessions take place at Stirchley Library, 8 Bournville Lane, Stirchley, Birmingham B30 2JT. As the library is shut on Mondays and Thursday evenings, doors are open for art clubbers until 15 minutes after the start time. Tea, coffee (and biscuits if you're lucky) are also provided. |
