Take part as a family, as an individual or as a household group. This project is suitable for adults and children of all ages and abilities - this is a truly multi-generational project!
You will receive three installments of creative tasks during Spring 2021 by post or email. Each installment will include 2 themes with art tasks, challenges and suggestions for the weeks and month ahead. You can also have some fun making your own art materials such as glue and ink. We will send you recipes! Respond to the themes however you like, and do as much or as little art as you want - there are no rules! Except that we would like you to share your artworks with us. If you are participating by post you will be sent stamped addressed envelopes for sending work back to us. If you are participating by email, please share your artwork on social media, tagging us in (@ArtStirchley) and using the hashtag #SpringIntoArt. Artwork shared during the project will be showcased on our website as the project progresses and you can also follow the project on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. @ArtStirchley #SpringIntoArt If you are participating by post, at the end of the project you will receive a hand-bound zine including artworks from each of the postal project participants. Please note: the postal project is now full - but you can still register to take part by email! Spring into Art! Postal Art Club is funded by the Local Connections Fund. The Local Connections Fund is a new £4 million fund to help charities and community groups working to reduce loneliness by building community connections across England. Through this programme and previous partnerships, DCMS and The National Lottery Community Fund are working together to help prevent loneliness, strengthen our communities, and improve people’s lives. |
